No, it means that they committed suicide or attempted to commit suicide by cutting the veins of their arm.
Thanks to both of you for all the help, and very good thinking Henrik, about the attemted suicide idea- that's what it turned out to be indeed. 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
Dear Henrik! You must have been confusing things: Razor in Armenian is "stanok". The following three words "srich, britva, lesvi" are used in Armenian to define the same thing "changeble blade". The labirint in where you have lost is called "a blade EDGE"
Right, the Russian word has probably been lezviye which means a razor blade. Though a blade without a razor sounds like the cats smile without the cat in Alices adventures, but still its the blade which does the job.
if somebody said they cut themself, on their hand, with a "britva" does it mean they cut themself shaving their hand?

The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
