Това е момента който се опитва да завърти самолета около оста Z (тази която е насочена нагоре спрямо посоката на полета). Ако си го представите ако хванем самолета за опашката и започнем да го въртим спрямо Z ние променяме посоката на полета, т.е. променяме пътя....попътен момент. :) По време на полет възникват моменти по всички оси.
