From your response I leapt to the conclusion that you're writing something in English, rather than translating a Bulgarian text. If that's correct, it might help if you were more specific about what you want to say.

Well, actually either word could work, depending on what you want to express. Saying "access a database" implies that it's being done to extract information. But also see here for an example of "connection": http://www.w3schools.com/aspnet/aspnet_db

i think i figured it out. its either connection or acces. right? if you use together with базата данни its gonna be something like connecting to or accessing the database, right? ) i dont need exact translation just some idea to what the word means.
