La terrassa de la Casa Batlló, amb les seves xemeneies-escultures torna a ser un «paisatge amb figures», com al Palau Güell, que Gaudí elevarà a la màxima potència al seu següent edifici: La Pedrera. Un altre dels punts forts des del punt de vista estructural és la unió dels **patis de llum i d’escala,** que es comuniquen pels replans d’accés als pisos. Els patis tenen una gran riquesa de formes i de cromatisme: estan revestits d’un aplacat ceràmic blau intens dalt de tot, que va baixant d’intensitat fins que a la planta baixa és quasi blanc. Una sèrie de terres de vidre, finestres i obertures ajuden a penetrar la llum des de l’exterior, que amb totes aquestes "trampes" es maximitza i es matisa tota sola.

Hi Jon. It is a similar conept. Pati de llums is the hole which is inside the houses so that it will have some light at the interior rooms. Pati d'escala is the hole inside which the stairs are. I am not sure if I've made up the word stair-well, but it might be an option in order to diferenciate both concepts.

Explanation:
Hi Jon. It is a similar conept. Pati de llums is the hole which is inside the houses so that it will have some light at the interior rooms. Pati d'escala is the hole inside which the stairs are. I am not sure if I've made up the word stair-well, but it might be an option in order to diferenciate both concepts.
