Thanks so much Ross! In the end I used "arched burial vault" because I saw that vault can also be the rectangular "boxes" that coffins are placed in for protection. I had no other context unfortunately, since it was from a list, but now I know what they are talking about. Gracias!

agree  Berni Armstrong: Seems a great option to me. But more context would have helped. What period are we talking about here? Did the culture described build using bricks and mortar, stone, etc? Important points for a 100% correct decision.
