Catalan term or phrase: capitonats amb respatller i seient, reblats amb serrells
I know what "capitonar" means, but not how to say it in English. Can't figure out what "reblats" means here though.

"A la casa-museu del Park Güell s’hi exposen les butaques dissenyades per Gaudí per al Palau Güell; uns seients capitonats amb respatller i seient, reblats amb serrells i sostinguts sobre unes potes molt baixes."

padded with backs and seats, tacked with fringes

Explanation:

Capitonat: padded. This helps to protect.
Reblat: tacked. Very often used in the context of furniture containing fabric.
"Fringe" can be used for ornamental things, eg rugs or the bottom of some seats.
Since what you're looking for is the words themselves I have translated the phrase literally but I suggest you change the structure since it now looks rather strange.

Explanation:
Although the original repeats seient, I think repeating seat adds to the general confusion of the sentence. Hope this helps. =)

-> Right, perhaps "decorated" might be a better fit. Thanks Berni.
