I have found the Carlet listed as "pinkmottle woodwax", and other Hygrophorus species such as almond woodwax, larch woodwax etc., but in the link from Dolores, people say "waxcap". I have now found some species of Hygrocybe called waxcap. Is this a clear distinction between the genera or is there overlap? Could I say "Woodwax" because of the genus, or might this be wrong?
