Per això la reconversió d’aquests centres, especialment en el cas de la UOC i la URL, ha estat més agosarada que no pas la de la universitat pública i ha plantejat canvis estructurals de gran magnitud (UOC) o bé canvis de denominació i dels plans d’estudi que guanyaven en especificitat.

UOC and URL are private unis.

O¡m a bit stuck with expressing the idea of "ha estat més agosarada que no pas la de..."

Agosarat = daring or bold etc. But maybe 'radical' would be a better translation in this context?

So, something like 'the reconversion ... more radical than that of the ....

The 'la' (in 'la de') appears to refer to the 'reconversió'.
