Catalan to English translations [PRO] Education / Pedagogy | | Catalan term or phrase: Curs instrumental | This appears twice in this course catalogue:
"Curs instrumental especialitzat en el disseny de superfícies flexibles de classe A emprades en el sector de l’automoció."
and
"Curs instrumental que proposa l’aprenentatge del programari de 3DSTUDIO MAX mitjançant la realització de pràctiques. Aquesta eina és un potent modelador tridimensional que permet generar imatges fotorrealistes."
I can find plenty of examples, but I'm not really sure what it is...

Explanation: The previous answers are both have the right idea, but I can't remember ever seeing them in an anglophone course guide (except practical ONLY when matched with a theory/lecture class). Lab class is another option but considering the program and the fact it is learned through practice exercises, provided it is short enough this could be the right option.
