Catalan term or phrase: segon de batxillerat
I don't know a whole lot about the Catalonian school system. Is this a secondary shool (high school/A level) graduate? Or someone in the second stage of a sceondary school (after two years and an exam)? Or someone in the second year (no exit exam)? Are they eligible to study at a university, or do they still have two years to go?

"Als/a les estudiants de matrícula lliure que van aprovar el segon de batxillerat en cursos anteriors però no van realitzar les proves o volen millorar la nota obtinguda. "

English translation:second year of post-high school education
Explanation:
Hello Ben,
The 'batxillerat' in Catalonia is the equivalent of the Spanish 'bachillerato' which may be taken after compulsory secondary education ends. The 'batxillerat' lasts for two years, and you normally start aged 16, so in the second (and final) year of the 'batxillerat' you would normally be 17/18. Completing the 'batxillerat' alone doesn't entitle you to university admission, but it does allow you to take a university entrance exam.
Hope that helps!
Chris

Explanation:
If you are UK based, it's the equivalent to the second year of sixth form education. What used to be called Upper Sixth.
