Catalan to English translations [PRO]
Government / Politics / funding for research
Catalan term or phrase: check of meaning

This is my draft interpretation:
Of these 146 were still in the period of funds application (79 valid until the end of 2005/corresponding to the 2003 award, and 67 valid until the end of 2006/ corresponding to the 2004 award).

Is that what is meant? Note that funding covers 2 years.

Explanation:
Hi Lia,
That is what is meant but shouldn't it be better to say "2003/2004 grant (catalan = subvenció)"? I understand that a prize or a grant for studies is awarded, but funds for a project are "granted".
Well, you will always know better than me as you are native English speaker and I am Catalan, just wanted to tell you just in case...
