Explanation:
This is the equivalent of the French "concordat" where the creditors come to an agreement in order to avoid the bankruptcy.
LeDocte also mentions 'bankrupt's certificate' and 'discharge in bankruptcy'. COMPOSITION seems to mee the correct expression.
