Catalan term or phrase: Si no ho feu, només podreu reclamar els perjudicis que aquests fets us hagin ...

Si no ho feu, només podreu reclamar els perjudicis que aquests fets us hagin ocasionat.

I just need to have a correct translation of the text up to 'perjudicis'. This sentence appears on the police form used for reporting street thefts of tourists' possessions. The preceding sentence says the police can take action to prosecute the alleged villains.

Explanation:
referring to something you need to do in order for the police to be able to prosecute therefore, if you don't, you can only claim the damages incurred etc....
