Exercir algú la seva curiositat en coses que no li haurien d'importar, en afers d'altri.
Tafaner -a : 1618 ; d'origin incert, probablement alteració de "tofoner", der. de "tòfona", aplicat inicialment a persones o gossos cercadors de tòfones que furguen i ho remenen tot.
