Bus/Financial - Accounting / financial report
Chinese term or phrase: Recognition and Measurement
Last month, I was sent a press release from C Corporation for translating a mid-term financial report. To control the quality before sending out to my client. I'd like to clarify the Chinese for the terminologies as listed below:
Net Sales; Operating profit(loss); Net earning(loss) attributed to C Corporation; Operating EBITDA, Diluted EPS-continuing operations; Diluted EPS-total; Adjusted EPS. For your information, EBITDA is marked as Non-U.S. GAAP measure. EPS is marked as Non-US GAAP measure. C corporation is listed on NYSE as a global technology and specialty materials company.
Second, when doing translation or interpretation, one always confused with the exchange from 1M to 1百万. In Chinese, people usually measure in 万(that is 10,000), but in English, people usually measure in Million or Billion. How to recognition and measure this distance?
Welcome the interpretor or translator in expertise to answer my question.

Thanks and best regards,
Faraday Zhang
