Chinese to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Architecture / Mosques | | Chinese term or phrase: Huanbai building | Hi!
I'm translating an English-Chinese text into Turkish. I came accross with this phrase. I'm not sure, but I guess this is a typo. Could you please eloberate what it means? I am citing below the English sentence and some chinese source. (The text concerns the Islamic mosques in China)
"The imposing mosque has a tall Huanbai building."
I'm uploading the Chinese source text as an image file. Please check it to see what it may mean.

| | English translation:minarets | Explanation: Minarets (Turkish: minare,[1] from Arabic manāra (lighthouse) منارة, usually مئذنة) are distinctive architectural features of Islamic mosques- generally tall spires with onion-shaped or conical crowns, usually either free standing or taller than any associated support structure; the basic form includes a base, shaft, and gallery. Styles vary regionally and by period. They provide a visual focal point and are used for the call to prayer (adhan).

"Huanbai" is perhaps the combination of two chinese characters: "Huan Bai (环拜 or 唤拜)", means "pray around" or "call praying". I think it is a result of the transcription. |
