Chinese to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
Chinese term or phrase:二[3-(3-叔丁基...) VS. 双[3-(3,5二叔丁基...
Dear colleagues. I am translating a very chemical patent and some of the chemical formulas give me a headache. My main problem here is 二 vs. 双 at the beginning or in the middle of such formulas, I have found both can mean bis or di- but I am not sure if they can be used interchangeably? They come up in the same sentence, but I am not sure if they mean the same, any help appreciated!
