Explanation:
just that simple. I don't see any need to add "national" to it -- even with the controversies surrounding the status of Taiwan! ;-)

Of course, adding \"national\" or \"ROC\" or \"Taiwan\" or \"Chinese Taipei\" (depending on whom you\'re translating for) clarifies the idea that this is a per capita income figure for all of Taiwan, as there does exist the possibility of a per capita income figure for just a city or area; I think, though, that in normal usage it\'s more usual to have to qualify these figures when they are NOT national.
