While handy, "direct admission" is not without its problem because it is a very current term in hospital services.

So, it must be modified a bit for this context -- e.g. direct college / university admissions... (And even so, the reader will have to guess what exactly "direct" means...)

香港确实有的说法，称"Direct Admission Scheme"，但仅此一例！新加坡有"direct school admission" -- and it's for high schools (exams requirements are not exempted).

Pls note also that the Tsinghua/Peking admission execise is kind of unique and should not be taken as the same as HK's (which does have its own requirements policies)... cheers
