be taken with/show emotion, to lament

Explanation:
It really depends on context on how you want to word it, but this is the general meaning in most cases I believe.

Hmm..I can truthfully say I don't know 100% if it's expressing a negative experience or positive experience. It seems to me the writer is saying either they've been stressed out over a lot that has happened over this first week in Taiwan, or they rather have been taken back with a lot of wonderful experiences. I couldn't say which it is without seeing what follows afterward, but it's my guess since they start off optimistically with "我有幸" that it's probably indicating a positive experience.

A rough and simplified translation of the sentence might be "I've been through a lot within the one week I've been here." Something to that effect I think works. Let me know if the context that follows agrees in any way :)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Fredrick, many thanks.
May I ask, if the context is: "今年四月,我有幸有一次工作学习机会来到台湾,在短短的一周时间里,感概很多。" What will you translate "感概"?
Many thanks.

Asker: Many thanks Fredrick.
I feel that "I've been through a lot within the one week I've been here" does not exactly express the emotion and meaning of "感概" in this context. But thanks for your help anyway.

More text for your reference:
