根据《西南交通大学考试管理实施细则》第二章规定，我校修课类型有以下：

第三条 按照考试的先后次序或次数，将考试分为正考、补考、重考三种类型。
第四条 学生按培养方案选课，取得修读课程资格，并按要求完成课程各环节的学习，第一次取得参加考试资格的考试为正考。
第五条 对于正考不合格的课程，学校提供一次不进行修课而直接参加的考试为补考。
第六条 对第二次及以上修读课程的考试为重考，即重修考试。
第七条 正考不合格的课程，学生可以选择补考或重修，但只能选其一。补考课程在成绩单中注明“补考”字样。补考未通过的课程，不能再次选择补考，只能选择重修。正考不合格的课程，如果学生选择了重修，就视为自动放弃补考机会，该课程以后将不能选择补考。重修不合格的课程，只能选择重修，不能选择补考。
第八条 正考合格的课程可允许重修一次，并按高分登记成绩；补考通过后的课程不允许重修。
第九条 当前学期正考不合格的课程，补考时间安排在下学期开学前。必修课的补考由教务处统一安排，限选课是否安排补考由开课院（系）自行安排，选修课、实习、实验、课程设计、毕业设计（论文）等课程不安排补考，只能选择重修......
