However, I believe it is the meaning of the term we should be translating here, not the dictionary definition of each word. This is the prize you get at the end of your study, calculating from the overall results of all the subjects in general, not in any particular specialised or professional field. Putting "overall" in parentheses is even more appropriate in this case, I believe. |
