Art/Literary - Folklore | | Chinese term or phrase: 化导社会的作用 | I'm not quite sure about the meaning of 化导社会 in the following passage:
风，除了作为名词性的乐歌外，在古代它还兼有动词性的化导社会的作用。
"The word wind (feng) not only had a nominal function indicating music and songs, in ancient times it was also used with a verbal function as ??"
It seems to me that 化导社会 could mean "guiding the society into a change", can someone help on this? |
