I am editing a document with 南京 translated as Nanking.

The document is a Taiwanese legal document.

Based on web search I have found both Nanjing Road and Nanking Road in use...

What one is most accepted in Taiwan? Nanjing or Nanking?

Explanation:

"Nanking E. Rd" was used before and might still be used by some people. But "Nanjing E. Rd" is the official translation for "南京東路" now.
