然而就如同中文域名一样，网络实名在受到关注的同时，也迅即卷入了一场狭路相逢的遭遇战。

上个月，“网络实名产业联盟”正式成立，这一联盟由3721发起，联合了新浪、搜狐、网易、新网、中国频道、8848、天极等国内知名网站，其目标是建立属于中国的实名标准。

在同一时间里，却传来另一条新闻，美国的网络实名推广商RealNames公司与微软签了三年合作的协议，与IE浏览器捆绑，只要在浏览器的地址栏键入实名便可到达指定网页。在更早的时候，RealNames公司已经和国内的三家著名域名注册商开展合作。

毫无疑问，这两条新闻焦点都是网络实名，而从某种程度上说，网络实名在国内竞争从一开始就显示出了它的残酷。

Chinese Keyword service enables Internet users in China to navigate the web and search for relevant on-line information by using real world identities and familiar names, rather than having to remember cumbersome domain names/URLs. Through the service, a simple and direct link between an entity's real world identity is established with its corresponding URL or domain name identifier. As a result, businesses can extend their existing real world brand identities directly on-line by making it easy for their customers to find them on the Web using familiar names and real world identities.
