Chinese to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
at all the documents issued by this particular department. It was invented by someone long time ago and it become part of the template and nobody ever since has bothered to delete it.
That's not too odd in a bureaucratic country. Most of the words in an official/governmental document make no sense at all: Chinese people are accustomed to, among others, "completely eliminate", "earnestly implement", and "please keep this document PROPERLY and don't discard, and most IMPORTANTLY, don't do any thing with it except READING!"
I've got different answers here. The document I'm working on isn't very sensitive, so I can understand if there is no implication of confidentiality. But if it's not about secrecy, then what is it about? Does this phrase have any meaning at all?
What would one do with some documents, but not with a 请妥善保存 document?
