Many of these Chinese company names simply have too many words in to produce an acceptable sounding company name in English. I think we just have to accept that Chinese companies like grandiose names with as many words in as possible. Anyway, there is a company in Shanghai called the Shanghai Foreign Service Co. Ltd, which I think is the one that you are referring to. This company has a branch called the Business Consulting Company of Shanghai Foreign Service Co. Ltd. This is what they call themselves on their website in English, although it is clearly not a very good translation. It sounds like a company of a company. This sub-company has a Business Registration Agency, and so I think this is the organisation you are referring. |
