Chinese term or phrase:借劲运气,顺气使劲
Is it possible that here 运 is a predicate?
my literal translation is " borrow strenght using breath, using breath along with breath", is that correct?
another problem: should i translate 气 as breath or vital force?
thank you all
I basically agree with Zhang and Franksf's suggestions. You may need to add a footnote to further explain what your are talking about, for native speakers of English Qi is very hard to understand, IMHO.

FYI
Explanation: Yes, 运 is a verb working as a predicate here. It means "to move", or "wield", it's all about making the CHI circulate around the body at will.
For 气, it makes sense to translate it as "breath", as this will be easily understood, while the Chinese actually has wider implications. It's also translated as "energy", or simply "CHI", to preserve the integrity of the word's original meaning. You may choose from the three.
"Apply" used by franksf is fine, you may put the second half as "apply strength along with breath/energy/CHI".

Move Qi with the help of power and apply power with the help of Qi
Explanation: Move Qi with the help of power and apply power with the help of Qi, such that Qi and power reinforce each other.

The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
