Chinese term or phrase: 处世不惊
Here, I have loosely translated 处世 as "in the face of danger" to match with the context of what I am working with, i.e. in situations where there is literal danger to one's life.

I have, so far:

"not panicking in the face of danger"

but am hoping to find an equivalent idiom in English. I have a mental block right now.
