I wasn't able to find a photo of the actual 辩经台 at 大金瓦寺 but I found a description of a 辩经台 at another Lama Temple: 哲蚌寺 - see first web reference

"寺院的四周没有草木，都是砂石荒山，寺内却有几处树木繁盛的院场。这便是哲蚌寺的辩经场。每个札仓（即僧院）都有两个这样的辩经场。辩经场一般设于札仓附近，主位有一级一级的辩经台，辩经的时候喇嘛依次就坐，原则上全寺喇嘛都可辩经，但实际上能够凭着足够佛学知识而登上辩经台的，只有少数能够逐级在札仓和全院性的大辩论中获胜，最终取得最高荣誉“格西”学位的喇嘛。
