Although 质量认证 translated 定型产品 as approved products, I would go for standardized products instead based on your description above. Even though 定型 can be directly translated as stereotype, it has a negative connotation. 定型 not on the products' specification but rather on its target users (e.g. for gay consumers, women only consumer, etc.)

定型产品是国家承认的产品。 To be recognized by the government, the product needs to pass the standards set by the goverment.

disagree  Michael Lickorish: There are very few hits for "typenprodukt" in google- perhaps I am spelling the German wrong. In patents the term seems to be used as short hand for "kind of", eg. a chair-type product, meaning a product that is a kind of chair.

  -> I am positive about "Typenprodukt" which is usually shortened as "Typ(en)" or sometimes refered as "Produkttyp(en)." Sometimes, we need to specify the type of product when we mention a "type product."

agree  Michael Lickorish: but I think "approved product" is better than "standardized product", although it sounds a little redundant in English, ie "an Approved Product is one that is approved by the government"...

Explanation:
My suggestion: "Commercialized Product" has the rather similar meaning with "定型产品",or put a word "formally" in front of the phrase, that is "formally commercialized product" .
