if you are translating for English speakers (Non-Chinese) to read then "" or “Families Receiving Social Security Support” could be a good expression. If your intended reader knows Chinese and been around China, then you could literally say "low-income(security or whatever) household", plus who is calling their family household these days? Just because Xinhua uses it does not make it the official translation for 戶. It is bad logical to think any translation has a official answer hiding somewhere anywayz! cheers |
