原文大致为：“工程人员刻苦攻关，解决了这一世界级难题。”翻译为World level problem显得很奇怪。怪就怪在，在中国似乎连问题都是分级别的：有地方级、国家级，当然最高是世界级，不，应该是“宇宙级”的。颇费脑筋。

我个人以为，“世界级”是一个非常“中国特色”的词汇，往往无关世界，主要是提出一个“级”字，表示程度。但是真正怎样恰当地表现出来，我问过这边洋人朋友，也是人各异词，毕竟在他们的文化里没有这种思维。有人建议绕开“世界”二字，只说 Top Challenge，也许是最靠近的说法了。

我个人以为，“世界级”是一个非常“中国特色”的词汇，往往无关世界，主要是提出一个“级”字，表示程度。但是真正怎样恰当地表现出来，我问过这边洋人朋友，也是人各异词，毕竟在他们的文化里没有这种思维。有人建议绕开“世界”二字，只说 Top Challenge，也许是最靠近的说法了。
