Chinese term or phrase: 文行
From a quote by Su Dong-Po re: Han Yu, who was briefly exiled to the Chaozhou part of Guangdong. :

自是潮之士,接 du 于文行

(sorry, my computer cannot generate "du" 3rd tone, which means "to focus upon, to do wholeheartedly)

My translation of the phrase:

"After Han Yu, the scholars of Chaozhou all became more earnest in their pursuit of learning."

My question: is 文行 translatable as "pursuit of learning?"

Thanks!
