22. Koliko krava ima želudaca i kako se oni zovu?

Mislim da ću Vas malo razočarati: Govedo (jer krava je ženka vrste koju zovemo govedo!) ima jedan želudac. Takav se želudac zove digastrički želudac, a imaju ga svi preživači tj. životinje podreda Ruminantia: goveda, ovce, koze, žirafe, antilope, jeleni, itd. Sličan digastrički želudac imaju i deve, ljama i vikunja. Značajka tog želuca je da se sastoji od pravog želuca i želučanih pretkomora koje pomažu u probavi hrane. Ipak, jedna životinja ima čak 7 želudaca. To je Alf, ali on potječe iz druge galaksije, pa se nećemo više ovdje njime baviti.

Goveđi je želudac najbolje proučen od svih digastričkih želudaca. Od se sastoji od četiri dijela ili komore: buraga, kapure, knjižavaca i sirišta (koje je zapravo pravi želudac).
