Tipološki pripada sljemenjaku, a predstavlja njegovu vrlo rijetku podvrstu, pločasti tip. Ova vrsta uglavnom je rasprostranjena u obalnom zaleđu srednje i zapadne Dalmacije. Stećak sa Grebišća u Bastu najljepši je među primjercima svoje vrste.
