U datom kontekstu statičar je diplomirani građevinski inženjer konstruktivnog smera (structural engineer) koji se u praksi opredelio za projektovanje, tj. izradu statičkih proračuna građevinskih konstrukcija (objekata visokogradnje, mostova, brana, tornjeva, itd.).
U ovo sam apsolutno sigurna jer sam i sama radila kao statičar i u zemlji i u inostranstvu više od 20 godina.
