Croatian term or phrase: markup lanugage

The W3C XML standard is at the basis of all Web services standards being implemented today. XML is the alphabet upon which other standards rely. The W3C XML specification defines the syntax for creating a markup language, but does not specify the tags that makes up the markup language.
