Explanation:
Kao što već rekoh: da je više konteksta, manje bi bilo pjesništva. Zamislim li ugovor o kupoprodaji nekretnina, mogu si zamisliti da u nekim člancima treba pisati da je kupac dužan podmiriti kupčevo novčano potraživanje o roku... Ili nešto slično. Onda bi mi baš sjeo taj "due amount". Ovoliko visok stupanj vjere u moje rješenje je proistekao iz vjerovanja da je riječ ipak tek o opisu novca kojega netko treba platiti zato što je kupio neku "kuću".

agree  David Stephenson: Or "amount due." For reasons unknown to me, "due" as an adjective (in the sense of "owed") almost always follows its noun in English. Čudan jezik!

agree  bonafide1313: nadam se da nema rečenice koja spominje "novčano potraživanje u iznosu od", to bi nam pokvarilo umjetnički dojam:)... moglo bi biti možda i amounts owed, money owed (to,by), a ima i ona pjesnička kao naša monetarna potraživanja, monies due and owing:))

  -> Pa kad smo već krenuli (sad sam se ohrabrio!) možda je to stvarno samo onaj slučaj kad je neki pravnik htio ispasti pametan a trebalo je lijepo napisati: novac. Pravnici, sorry. :)
