"Notwithstanding / Ne dovodeći u pitanje A, B" means that A holds true even if it conflicts with B."
1. "Notwithstanding (bez obzira na) anything that could be interpreted to the contrary (where "anything that could be interpreted to the contrary = B), A shall hold true (where A = the payment condition described in the text)"
2. Without prejudice to (ne dirajući, ne dovodeći u pitanje) anything that could be interpreted to the contrary (B), the payment condition is as described ...
No. 2 in my opinion would mean that both, B and A hold true.... and it seems illogical... in my opinion it would mean that A holds true without affecting anything in B that could be interpreted contrary... to make the long story short, I somehow feel that "notwithstanding/without prejudice" or "bez obzira na/ne dovodeći u pitanje" can't be synonymous here |
