Explanation:
Weight depends on gravitation and its SI unit is Newton whereas mass doesn't depend on gravitation and its SI unit is kilogram.

However mixing these two up is very common.

hmotnost = mass; váha = weight


Explanation:
To jsou fyzikální definice anglicky i česky. V české technické literatuře se většinou používá hmotnost s jednotkami kg. Váha je totiž síla uváděná v N (Newtonech). V anglické technické literatuře jsem skoro vždy viděl Váhu v jednotkách kg, což je, striktně vzato, nesprávné. Váha hmotnosti 1 kg je
F= m*a= m*g= 9,81 kg.m/s2= přibližně 10 N(ewtonů).
