Medical - Medical: Health Care / Alternative healing, herbalism | | Czech term or phrase: zaléčit/zaléčovat/zaléčený | I'm working on a text written by a master herbalist who is very critical of standard medicine. He believes that when bacteria or viruses are treated with "chemical medicine" they are "zaléčené do těla" and that these zaléčené bugs or illnesses can continue to create health problems. The solution he offers is to rally the body's own immune system to expel the invaders.
Thanks for help with this one. I get what he is trying to say, but I'm stumped for how to express it. If more information or a longer piece of text is needed I'll be glad to supply it. |
