I also agree that 'support staff' is another option as per Scott - it is one of those which is difficult to pinpoint exactly as there is no direct equivalent. Cheers :)

Many thanks to all who contributed to this discussion! Finally I used "auxiliary staff" in my translation, so I awarded that answer with points. However "support staff" would be fine as well (I actually worked as a health care assistant in Ireland, and we were called "nursing support services"). Unfortunately, it is not possible to award points to multiple answers :o( Again many thanks, I appreciate all discussion entries.

Ak nie tak potom je to len v USA angl. zdravotnícky pesronal = medical personel a az potom podmienky vzdelania...Neexistuje (v USA) lower-higher medical personnel ale existuje medical personnel , kde "we require at least 2 years of medical or dental experience for jods as - front office, back office, medical assistant, insurance biller and more....tak ako doma nizsi z.p. = do zubni ordinace, instrumentarka, sanitar, sanitarka ale aj maser....
