neutral  Martin Janda: There is a dot after 'ethiol.' so I guess this is an acronym. I suspect 'ethiology'. Perhaps ethiologicke agens?/Not usually. Someone old could do that though. But it's just a guess again.

  -> are they spelled with an "h"? I think it is 'etiology' and etiologicke ag.
