Zotavovací akcí je organizovaný pobyt 30 a více dětí ve věku do 15 let na dobu delší než 5 dnů, jehož účelem je posílit zdraví dětí, zvýšit jejich tělesnou zdatnost, popřípadě i získat specifické znalosti nebo dovednosti. Za zotavovací akci se považuje i výchovně rekreační tábor pro děti (podle zákona o sociálně-právní ochraně dětí), a to i v případě, že se ho účastní mladiství.

So I know what it IS, but my mind is at a blank when it comes to thinking of an English term for it! Any ideas?

Asker: Even though this may be how somebody has translated it, in the context of the piece that I am translating just now, health and the improvement thereof has to come into it somewhere, otherwise it wouldn't make sense :) It may be recreational, but it is more than this...
