Czech to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) | | Czech term or phrase: plášťový spontanní pneumothorax | | I know what a spontaneous pneumothorax is, but plášťový is a first for me - the only thing I can think of is that it is some kind of a lateral spont. PNO, but not sure whether it is unilateral/bilateral or contra-lateral. Does anybody know? Cheers |

| | English translation:partial spontaneous pneumothorax | Explanation: It seems that plášťový = parciální.
Pneumotorax
Za parciální, plášťový PNO se pokládá přítomnost < 20 % vzduchu v hemitoraxu. Může být klinicky němý nebo vyvolává jen mírnou dušnost. Rozsáhlý PNO je pokládán za velmi závažnou komplikaci. Projeví se náhlou
bolestí na hrudníku vystřelující do ramene a dušností. |
