Medical - Medical (general) / medical equipment
Czech term or phrase: sanita
Czech medical report, patient has trouble walking so is transported on a "sanita":

"Pacient dopravován na ozáření sanitou, používá invalidní vozik."

"Vypsán poukaz na sanitu na cestu zpět a na zítra vzhledem k těžké artóze a neschopnosti chůze."

I imagine this is a kind of stretcher but I cannot find this word in any Czech dictionary or online so I wanted to ask to make sure what the English translation is.

Thanks!

Stephen
