Při pokračování diagnostického algoritmu byl volán infekcionista k vyloučení infekce tetanem.

Is there a distinction between infektolog (a word which I think I've seen elsewhere) and infekcionista?

Thanks. The word in English seems to be hovering uneasily between 'infectiologist' and 'infectologist' - neither is in my medical dictionary. I'd prefer to say 'infectious disease doctor' or 'infectious disease specialist'.
