I still don't see a Czech quote that unambiguously supports the reading "arrangement". If you could toss one in, that would help a lot. The Tomas Hanus passage seems to be talking about a conductor's interpretation.
Is it a conductor or a composer? That would help a lot. (Doesn't Hannah's final quote below, about the conductor Hanus, suggest that we are talking about an "interpretation"?)

performance-related. "Hudební nastudování" is the process of preparing an orchestra through rehearsals, as I suspect is the case in " Hudební aranžmá a nastudování". Or here, where dance is the subject: "při nastudování jeho baletů.... " Or here, for theater: "v novém nastudování v pražském divadle".
In the musical context, the Germans have "Studienleiter" = assistant conductor. As here: "Asistent dirigenta je kvalifikovaný pracovník, který spolupracuje při nastudování a dirigování hudebních děl."

but Rad, your comment under Hannah's suggestion is very telling. Your chip on your shoulder seems to be blocking your view. Note that I did not disagree with your suggestion - it would have been right for Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, for example. But you took my comment way too personally, your replies to my explanations were snarky and I had no choice but to take you down a notch when you garbled Tchaikovsky's name. I apologise for that, but you were being out of line.
I thought Hannah's suggestion was a better fit and said so. She is a native Czech speaker. It is not my (or I suspect Jim's or Gerry's) prerogative to prove NSs are always right. If there is something I have done to make you think otherwise, please let me know.

podla mna nazov skladby nic nevyriesi. Suhlasim s Radom. V podstate neviem o co ide. V clankoch sa sice pise o "nastudovani", ale nie vzdy v suvislosti s hudbou. Zrejme by sme sa mali ujednotit vo vyraze "nastudovani". Akop som uz napisala Nastudovani ma odvolavku v slovnikoch studium. Studovat hudbu, biologiu alebo studovat v zmysle interpretacie, pochopenie z ineho (uhla) ak chcete, a v tom pripade by mala pravdu Elizabeth.
