if alive Explanation: ZIVELI - in the form it was written in your query - makes no sense in Czech. However, if you add specific Czech diacritical marks, you´ll get "ivě-li" and then it means "if alive" or "either alive". Furthermore, I am sure that ZIVELI positively is not a Slovak nor Polish word. |

Ziveli sounds more like some of languages of romer Yugoslavia Explanation: Zive-li from previous answer is definitely a stretch, but you would be better off if you give a detailed explantion of circumstances where it was used, otherewise you are wasting our time. If you want a freebee, at least respect our time and try to do something yourself. www.czechtransaltion.com |

see below Explanation: Ziveli (with diacritical sign on the Z (a reversed ^)) is Serbocroatian, now Croatian (the Serb version has to be in Cyrillic) , and is being said when you give or propose a toast. It means something like: 'long may they live', 'good health','cheers' etc . Comes from the verb 'ziveti' (again with a reversed ^ on the z), which means 'to live' etc. Mainly colloquial language. Hope it helps. |

ZIVELI - to earn one's living, to live, to nourish, to feed, if alive, to live of, Explanation: ZIVELI - if the text is Czcech, then most likely two diacritical marks are missing. One on "Z" the second "E". Words preceeding or following "ZIVELI" would help. 1/ If " ZIVELI SE ( then we are talking about persons in connection with employnent) " => they earned teir living. 2/ If " ZIVELI SE ( we are talking about food ) " => to nourish or to feed. 3/ => to live of,=> to live,=> if alive,=> either alive" 4/ => connected with life or living. |
